Brenda is an expert on Victorian textiles and particularly interested in the work of John Sedding, the principal architect involved in the design of St Martin's Church following the death of his elder brother Edmund Sedding who had received the original commission from Mrs Ann Hudson.

The talk will be entitled "Stitch and Stone-Architects and Embroidery in the Gothic Revival Era" and promises to be a very interesting evening.

The talk will begin at 7.30pm, admission is £5 (on the door) and will include refreshments.
